Tennis
Tennis at Waverley is a year-round sport thanks to our four artificial grass
courts, two of which are floodlit, and to our active members. Social tennis sessions
take place throughout the year and for those who are more competitive there are plenty of inter club matches.
Tennis Summer Coaching
Coaching available on following weeks:
- 6 - 10 July
- 13 - 17 July with Ross Murray
- 27- 31 July
One hour in morning, probably 10-11 and /or 11-12.
Minimum of six required for the week to go ahead.
Times will be confirmed on the Saturday prior.

£40 non-members

- 10 - 14 August
As above but also possibly more intense weeks of 2.5 hours if there is demand

Social Tennis
Year round turn up and mix-in sessions.
Matches
Waverley enters teams in as many of the ESLTA competitions as possible. Currently
we have 3 ladies and 3 men's teams in the East Leagues which allows for a wide
range of standards. Teams are also currently entered in the Scottish Cup, Robin
Welsh Cup, Inter Club Singles, National Club Leagues, Veterans Leagues and
Winter Leagues.
Junior Matches
Waverley enters as many teams as possible (more than one in an age group if
we have the players) in the League matches and Scottish Cup matches and in
the Autumn Doubles and Under 10 Singles competitions.
Club Tournaments
Waverley Junior Open Tournament held over a week in the Easter holidays, publicity
and entry forms available from the ESLTA.
Closed Club Tennis Tournament held over three weeks from the end of August.
