Saturday 8th September: Finals Day

27/09/2007: All finals now completed - list below shows all winners

It was disappointing that a number of finalists were unable to play on the day. However, by 22 September it should all be over and the trophies will be taken off for engraving. Those present on finals Day enjoyed fabulous weather, fantastic tennis in hotly contested finals and a very nice tea at the end.

It was a good year for Waverley’s Honorary President, Jasper Carmichael. He had a short run in the Senior Men’s Doubles partnering his son Philip while his granddaughter Ilona won the Girls U12 event and her big sister appeared in the Girls U14 Final.
